OUR STORY
I have been working in the horse world for over 20 years, with experience in working with all kinds of horses from multi discipline boarding stables to show barns to racehorses. Along the way I also have managed a few barns and done some training and taught some beginner riding lessons.
With all these years of experience and the help of my wonderful husband we decided to make my dream come true of being able to run my own small private boarding stable and so we bought this beautiful little farm of just under 11 acres in Harrodsburg, KY in September 2020.

ABOUT DOUBLE V STABLES
Double V Stables is a small private farm owned and operated by myself. Over the past 3 years of owning the property we have done a lot of work to make the place not only our home for us and my personal horses, but a nice quiet place for people to board their horses as well. My husband and I have done just about all the work ourselves with a little help from family who we owe many thanks to! We have built 3 run-in sheds, a 14x30 that is attached to the barn, a 12x24, and also now have a 12x36 that was built this past summer due to storm damage that was done to the old 20x40 that was on the property when we purchased it. We have also installed all of the fencing ourselves which consists of 4 strands of electric braided rope. A 50x60 4 board round pen that is 5 foot tall, and some construction on the barn. We now have 2 10x12 rubber matted stalls, and there is more yet to come! A 60x120 covered outdoor arena is in the plans for the future, along with 5 more stalls, a wash stall, and separate feed and tack rooms.

If Double V Stables isn't the right place for you and your horse(s) to board at right now because we are missing something you need or want, please check back with us in the future. We are always working to improve the farm. Not just with what I want to have personally, but with what I want to be able to provide to my boarders.
